Determining ultrasonic device distance from ground

The ultra sonic device (12) has a transmitter and a receiver and influences the operating height of a working part (3,4,5,6) of an agricultural machine. The device scans the ground surface (11) and corresp. signals are generated. The ultrasound waves reflected from the earth's surface are focused on the ultrasound receiver as average signals.The reflected waves are focused on the receiver by reflective surfaces (15) on the agricultural machine. These surfaces are arranged relative to the receiver on the ultra sonic device.
