<p>PURPOSE:To carry out paper feeding with high stability regardless of the types of paper in a paper feeder provided with separating claws and auxiliary rollers. CONSTITUTION:This cassette type paper feeder, where separation is conducted by claws, is provided with a requlating member 7 which can regulate the height of the loop of a paper sheet which is formed around a separating nail 5 at the time of feeding paper on a plane which is roughly at the same level as a contact surface where a paper feeding roller 3 is brought into contact with a paper sheet P to be used without interfering with the conveying force of the paper feeding rollers 2, 3. It is thus possible to match the timing when both right and left claws come off all the time regardless of the rigidity of the paper sheet P to be used and prevent incorrect feed, such as the skew of the sheet P caused by the lag of the claw separating timing and jamming caused by the skew so as to carry out stable paper feeding.</p> |
