摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To precisely measure the distance by which an approaching and passing tester approaches and the direction of its quadrant when using electronic measuring method, while eliminating the effects of waves reflected from the ground surface at low altitudes. CONSTITUTION:Signals RS1, RS2 of received waves from a transceiver 11 and two-phase random codes generated inside are used to output detection signals E1-E4 that correspond to the intensity of the signals at each quadrant. The evaluating device includes a correlation detector 12 which outputs correlated output voltage signals RA, RB, LA, LB by performing correlation modulation between each code being delayed by plural bits in sequence and each received wave signal, means 13, 15 for determining according to the detection signals the direction S2 of a quadrant toward which a tester approaches and passes, and means 14, 15 for detecting according to the correlated output voltage signals the distance S1 by which the tester approaches and passes.</p>
