PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of unevenness by means of squeezing rolls caused by the drying/fixing of a liquid developer by composing a gas blowing means of a pneumatic circuit having a compressed air source, a solenoid valve and a blow-off nozzle. CONSTITUTION:When the leading edge part of an electrophotographic lithographic printing plate 1 is held between a pair of the squeezing rolls 2 and 3, an instruction is sent to the solenoid valve 15 from an electrical control part basing on a signal from a plate detecting sensor 17 and when the electrophotographic lithographic printing plate 1 is in contact with a pair of the squeezing rolls 2 and 3, the pneumatic circuit composed of a reducing valve 16-the solenoid valve 15-a flow rate regulating valve 14-a nozzle end connection 13-the blow-off nozzle 12 is opened. Then, the leakage of the liquid developer 9 to the side where the electrophotographic lithographic printing plate 1 is ejected from a pair of the squeezing rolls 2 and 3, due to compressed air is prevented. After the electrophotographic lithographic printing plate 1 is ejected, the solenoid valve 15 closes the pneumatic circuit with the instruction from the electrical control part. Therefore, a defect in an image such as a horizontal line caused by the fixing due to the excessive drying of the liquid developer is not generated, but an excellent sharp image can be obtained. |
