PURPOSE:To exactly and efficiently join pictures broken into plural pieces by providing a join processing part which positions original data, and deletes shadow data generated at the joint. CONSTITUTION:This device is equipped with an inputting means which reads the pictures of an original, and a picture memory 43 which stores the pictures read from the broken original as the original data. And also, the device is equipped with a join processing part 48 which recognizes the shape of the broken original from each original data stored in the picture memory 43, positions the original data so that each broken original can be joined, and deletes the shadow data generated at the joint. Then, in the join processing part 48, the shape of the broken original is recognized from the original data stored in the picture memory 43, the positioning of the original data is operated so that each broken original can be joined, and the shadow data generated at the joint is deleted. Therefore, a labor to exactly position and join each broken original by a manual work can be unnecessitated. |
