PURPOSE:To provide a waveform data editing device which facilitates editing operation for waveform data generated in consideration of the length of a note. CONSTITUTION:In a step Sa3, arithmetic operation is performed on the basis of the sampling rate at the time of waveform data recording, a tempo obtained by setting or calculation, a head sample position which is inputted in a step Sa1, and note length which is inputted in a step Sa2 to calculate a final sample position corresponding to the tail position in the range of a waveform to be edited. Consequently, the range in which the waveform data are to be edited can be specified with the note length. |
