PURPOSE:To prevent the separation of a coating film given on the inner face of a manifold for fuel cells. CONSTITUTION:A manifold 10 has the side plate portion 10a, the periphery portion 10b and the flange portion 10c, in contact with the side face of an element cell laminate, formed as one unit by bending a metal material. Four corners 10d of the periphery portion 10b are bonded together by welding. The manifold 10 has a flame coated film 11 formed on the inner face by metal or ceramics flame coating as undercoating. Fluorine contained resin is applied to the film and baking coating is given thereon to form a fluorine contained resin film 12. In this case, the thickness of the inner face of the manifold is 1/1.5-1/5 of the thickness of the fluorine contained resin film 12 on the flange portion 10c and its vicinity. |
