PURPOSE:To provide a document editing device which speeds up printing process by decreasing the frequency of issue of a drawing function for a drawing by one line printer line. CONSTITUTION:The document editing device is equipped with a drawing figure circumscribing rectangle calculation part 26 which calculates the starting line and ending line of a drawing figure in a document, a drawing request buffer control part 27 for storing the drawing protocol of the drawing figure in the document, a line-classified drawing request table control part 28 which stores the starting line and end line of each drawing figure stored in the drawing request buffer control part 27, and a printing system control part 23 which checks a figure on a line to be printed from the line-classified drawing request table control part 28 at every line at the time of printing, and takes the figure protocol of the figure out of the drawing request buffer control part 27 and performs the printing process. |
