PURPOSE:To provide a block-shaped electric double layer capacitor which can realize a product wherein its electric characteristic and its grade are maintained at low costs. CONSTITUTION:A capacitor element 15 is housed inside a bottomed cylindrical metal case 16, an opening part in the metal case 16 is sealed with a sealing member 17, and a capacitor body 18 is constituted. A plurality of capacitor bodies 18 are arranged, outer leads for the capacitor bodies 18 are connected to a copper foil part 20 on a printed-circuit board 19, the plurality of capacitor bodies 18 are connected in series, and the plurality of capacitor bodies 18 are bundled crosswise by thermally shrinkable resin tubes 21a, 21b. |
