The method checks the raw material status without the absence detection sensor for the material by utilizing a microprocessor program. The method comprises the steps of: storing the holding amount data and the releasing data of the raw material into the RAM; turning on the absence display lamp for the raw material; checking the status whether the additional coins are coming in or not; driving the cup carrier motor, the water supply motor, and the raw material supply motor if a menu is selected; completing the selling operation of the vending machine.
