The window has a pane in a frame, with the pane dished and protruding beyond the outer wall surface when the window is mounted. Pref. a viewing face forms the dish base, surrounded by a top strip, two side strips, and a bottom strip.At least the top strip extends outwards inclined from the viewing face. The side strips may be so inclined, as well as the bottom strip. The edges or transitions between the viewing face and all strips may be chamfered, or rounded. The top strip width is typically greater than that of the bottom strip.
