The burner has the fuel feed (2) ducted into the heated section (4) of the injector, with the heating from an external power source. The end of the injector is set into the combustion chamber and the ends of the heating elements are heated to the ignition temperature. The firing of the fuel is assisted by spark plugs or glow plugs (22) and a controlled inflow of air ensures an efficient burn.The gasified fuel leaves the injector via flow restrictions (8) at the burn end. The shaped flow restriction inject the fuel gasses into the combustion chamber with a swirl effect. The heating elements comprise an outer cylindrical heater (7) and an inner rod heater (6).
