The circulation regulator (11) between the exchanger outlet and the tank requires no external power supply, Its free cross-section increases with the water temperature above its rated setting. It can consist of a thermostat valve containing expanding material, and can be arranged to shut the flow right off below its rated temperature. The latter can be the same as the minimum charging temperature for the tank, which contains no additional heaters.
