PROCESS FOR OBTAINING CARBAMIDE

A process for obtaining carbamide involves synthesizing carbamide from initial components and crystallizing the resulting aqueous solution of carbamide until the supersaturation temperature of the solution is reached while simultaneously passing bubbles of a gas which is inert in relation to the solution through it. Crystallization takes place throughout the entire volume of the supersaturated solution. The crystals are subsequently removed from the solution by filtration.
