<p>PURPOSE:To provide a paper feeding device at a low cost which maintains separation performance which is almost the same as that a a FRR paper feeding system by the prior art and does not require a complicated mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A paper feeding device is constituted of a sheet accommodating device 1 which accommodates a number of sheets 2 inside the device body and installed in a demountable manner, energizing means 3 for energizing an accommodated sheet 2, pick-up roller 4 for energizing the sheet 2 by the energizing means 3, feed roller 5 for sending out the sheet 2 driven out by the pick-up roller 4, and a separating roller 8 which is energized by the feed roller 5 and carries out separation by a frictional force when two or more sheets 2 are sent. A torque limitter 6 is connected with the separating roller 8, and the shaft of the separating roller 8 is a fixed shaft which is not driven, and the center line of the separating roller 8 is arranged downstream from the plane 11 passing through the center line of the feed roller 5 which is nearly perpendicular to the advance direction of the sheet 2.</p> |
