METHOD FOR REMOVING REMAINING IRON IN MAIN RUNNER OF BLAST FURNACE

PURPOSE:To enable treating with unmanned operation at the time of treating remaining iron in a main runner in a blast furnace and to easily execute the separation of molten iron and molten slag. CONSTITUTION:A remaining iron removing hole 3 arranged to a molten iron raising part 4 in the downstream part of the main runner in the blast furnace is plugged with a new dumper 5 for plugging the remaining iron removing hole to separate the molten iron and the molten slag. The signal of the plugging in the iron tapping hole with an iron tapping hole plugging machine is inputted to the damper 5 for plugging the remaining iron removing hole, and by opening the damper, the remained iron in the main runner 1 is treated with the unmanned operation and in a short period of time.
