REPAIRING METHOD FOR BRANCH TUBE AND REPAIRING SLEEVE

PURPOSE:To repair a branch tube connected to a mounting opening of a main tube and to effectively seal the opening as well. CONSTITUTION:A sleeve 10 is mounted near a mounting opening C in a main tube A. Elastic sealing members 12 provided at ends of the opening C are brought into pressure contact with an inner periphery of the tube A to seal between the sleeve 10 and a sleeve body 11. Expandable, flexible and curable lining tube 20 is retracted into a branch tube B via an opening 11b of the sleeve 10 from the tube A. The tube 20 is cured in an expanded state. Thus, the tube 20 is fixed in the tube B. An elastic sheet 22 of the tube 20 is brought into pressure contact with an annular elastic sealing member 13 provided at a peripheral edge of the opening 11b of the sleeve 10 to be sealed therebetween.
