<p>PURPOSE: To keep the initial shape and size of a container even after the repeated rewashing and repacking by providing the container with a thermoplastic outer layer and a different thermoplastic inner layer, and improving its stress craze and crack resistances and rewashability. CONSTITUTION: A container includes at least two layers adjacent to one another. An outer layer is an aromatic polycarbonate layer having at least 0.40 deciliter/ gram of intrinsic viscosity measured in methylene chloride at 25 deg.C. An inner layer is an amorphous polyamide layer derived from m-xylenediamine and having at least 130 deg.C of glass transition point. Polycarbonate is a blow molding grade having about 0.48-0.60 of intrinsic viscosity and about 12,000-30,000 number average molecular weight. Further the amorphous polyamide has about 145-160 deg.C of glass transition point. Whereby the glass transition point of amorphous polyamide does not lower to a temperature causing the whitening or opaqueness when it is exposed to the humidity and high temperature as in the washing liquid.</p> |
