PURPOSE:To provide a balloon mounting method for an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus which enables the mounting of a balloon easily and accurately so as to expand larger in the direction of transmitting or receiving ultrasonic waves. CONSTITUTION:A balloon 6 free to expand is mounted surrounding an ultrasonic probe 2 provided at the tip 1 of an inserting part so that ultrasonic waves are transmitted or received being turned to a part of an examinee and a liquid is fed into the balloon 6 to expand it. In this balloon mounting method for an ultrasonic diagnosing apparatus, the balloon 6 is mounted at the tip 1 of the inserting part with the plane on the rear more tensioned as compared with the plane on the side in the direction 3 of transmitting or receiving the ultrasonic waves. |
