<p>PURPOSE:To make a large-capacity single-phase, single winding transformer compact, by winding a high voltage line terminal side winding and a branch line winding on one iron core and winding a branch line terminal winding and a branch line winding and a low voltage winding on another iron core and enclosing them in separate tanks respectively. CONSTITUTION:Series-connected line terminal side winding 11 and branch line winding 21 are wound on iron core 41, and this is enclosed in tank 51. On the other hand, series-connected branch line terminal side winding 12, branch line winding 22 and low voltage winding 3 are wound on iron core 42, and this is enclosed in tank 52. Tanks 51 and 52 are connected by means of oil-filled ducts 61- 63. By dividing the windings into two groups like this, their respective dimensions are reduced. As a result, compared with the conventional method of division, it is possible to reduce the distance between series winding 12 and tank 52 and thereby to reduce the size and weight of a large-capacity, single-phase, single-winding transformer.</p> |
