The invention relates to a method for the disposal of motor vehicles, in which the vehicles are fed to a preparation or a pre-dismantling station and in which liquid operating materials are subsequently removed in a plurality of steps in a disposal station for operating materials before the vehicle is, if applicable, swivelled or turned for the purpose of dismantling further parts such as the drive train, the roof element, glass parts, shock absorbers and other parts, and in which method, prior to the removal of viscous operating materials, the viscosity of the latter is reduced in a chemical or physical manner.
