The method for producing a vacuum-tight connection between a ceramic container and a metal bushing is based on the fact that an open molybdenum tube is directly sintered into the opening of the ceramic container. The metal bushing is subsequently introduced into the open molybdenum tube. The molybdenum tube and the metal bushing are welded to one another at the outer end of the molybdenum tube.
