The machine has a receptacle (3) into which are introduced a set of numbered balls (1), a mechanism to mix the positions of the balls and a mechanism (5) to extract the balls one by one from the receptacle and to place them on public view. The extraction mechanism has a tube (6) of diameter slightly greater than that of the balls. A rod (11) passes coaxially inside the tube and can move axially inside the tube. In one position the rod prevents entry of a ball into the tube. In the second position the tube is lowered just enough to allow a single ball to enter the top of the tube. USE/ADVANTAGE Purely mechanical system that is not dependent on vacuum pumps or on electrical supply.
