PURPOSE:To call a document in the middle of preparation preserved in a file on the side of a system after a power source is turned on by clearly distinguishing whether data are in the middle of preparation or not and registering the data in a storage part together with other contents. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a RAM 2 for storing document data and graphic data and a ROM 3 for storing a control program and a retrieval part is integrated for retrieving data based on the contents together with a document registration processing part for registering input data while distinguishing whether they are in the middle of preparation or already completed and a recognition part for recognizing the registered contents inside a CPU 1. After the initial setting of the entire system is completed after the power source is turned on, it is confirmed whether any document in the middle of preparation is existent or not in recognized data inside the system and when the presence of the document in the middle of preparation can be confirmed, the kind of the preservation file is confirmed. When the file is set, it is retrieved whether the register name of the document in the recognized data is existent inside the file or not and when such a name exists, the retrieved document is read out. |
