METHOD FOR DETECTING NUCLEIC ACID

PURPOSE:To readily detect the presence of nucleic acid with high sensitivity in a short time without carrying out the electrophoresis. CONSTITUTION:A DNA after its production by a method such as polymerase chain reaction(PCR) or ligase chain reaction(LCR) is made to react with a labeling primer having one sequence of primers used in production simultaneously with denaturation and the resultant product is then simultaneously made to react with the labeled oligonucleotide having the sequence complementary to a part of the sequence in the produced gene and a solid phase capable of recognizing the labeling primer. A signal produced from the labeled oligonucleotide is measured to detect the presence of the nucleic acid.
