<p>PURPOSE:To obtain printing of stable quality without irregularity by an ink jet head wherein partitions are in parallel with direction of thickness of the partitions and reciprocally corresponding to ink channels and polarized in opposite direction, a base of a substrate is polarized in the direction of thickness of the substrate from the rear face of the substrate to a groove or from the groove to the rear face of the substrate when the polarization of the partition is directed to ink or the channel. CONSTITUTION:When a negative potential with respect to an electrode 4ab is applied to an electrode 4bc, a partition 2b extends in the direction of electric field by interaction of lines of electric force 8 and polarization 7, and changes to expanding mode so as to contract in the vertical direction with respect to the electric field. When the same process is performed for a partition 2c, a width and a height of an ink channel 5bc contract and its sectional area reduces more than that of an ink channel 5de which is equivalent to an initial state. At the same time, at the bottom of the ink channel 5bc of a base of a substrate 11, by the interaction of the polarization 7 and the line of electric force 8, almost deformation of expanding mode also occurs so as to make the width of the ink channel 5bc narrow. By the deformations of the partitions and the channel bottoms, ink drop exhausting performance is decided.</p> |
