PURPOSE:To make it possible to use an exposing light source of low energy and to expose and develop many original plates within the given time by incorporating at least one kind of ethylenic unsatd. compds. which are nongaseous at ordinary temp. and specific tetraphenyl naphthacene compds. into this compsn. CONSTITUTION:This photopolymerizable compsn. contains at least (a) one kind of the ethylenic unsatd. compds. which are nongaseous at ordinary temp. and (b) the 5, 6, 11, 12-tetraphenyl naphthacene compds. expressed by formula. In the formula, (a), (d) denote 1 to 4; (b), (c) (e), (f) denote an integer from 1 to 5; Ra<1>, Rb<2>, Rc<3>, Rd<4>, Re<5>, Rf<6> are hydrogen, 1 to 12C alkyl group, 1 to 8C alkoxy group, cyano group, the same or different groups selected from halogen. The photopolymn. compsn. formed by further adding particularly preferably an iron allene complex as an initiator to the components (a), (b) is exemplified. |
