PURPOSE:To prevent such inconvenience as operated by an improper program except an acceptable, with regard to a microcomputer control game machine carried into a game hall. CONSTITUTION:The microcomputer 23 for controlling a game machine is provided with a means 62 for deciding whether a read-only memory 10c in which a control program for controlling the game machine is stored and mounted is suitable or not. When a prescribed condition is formed (for instance, when a power source is started), the control program stored in the read-only memory 10c is proper or not is decided by the propriety deciding means 62, and only in the case it is a proper program as a result of decision, the game machine is subjected to ordinary control. |
