PAINT-OUT AREA SETTING CIRCUIT

PURPOSE:To construct a paint-out area setting circuit capable of detecting boundary point at a high speed without being conscious of a clip area by automatically detecting the boundary point by hardware at the time of paint-out processing. CONSTITUTION:Whether data read out from a frame memory 12 are applied to a clip area or not is checked by a clip area detecting circuit 21, and when the data are applied to the clip area, a mask bit pattern is generated by a mask pattern generating circuit 22. The data read out from the frame memory 12 and the data generated by the circuit 22 are synthesized by an OR circuit 23 and the synthesized result is supplied to a printer mechanism to execute paint-out processing.
