DEVICE FOR CULTURING ALGAE

PURPOSE:To prevent the adhesion of the algae to optical fibers and tank walls in an alga-culturing tank by transferring all contents in the alga-culturing tank into storing tank at each prescribed interval and subsequently fall-supplying the contents stored in the storing tank into the alga-culturing tank at each prescribed interval. CONSTITUTION:All contents of a culturing tank 1 are transferred into a large volume storing tank 10 at each prescribed interval, and subsequently the contents stored in the storing tank are fall-supplied into the culturing tank at each prescribed interval. The falling supply may simply be performed by the natural falling of the contents, but may be carried out with a pump. The time interval for the falling supply is a 2 or 3 minute interval to a several hour interval in correspondence with the adhering state of the algae.
