<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of operational failures by detecting an actuating position of a locking plate drive means and its neutral position which conforms to a locking plate release position and an engagement position respectively and halting the power supply to the drive means. CONSTITUTION:When an outside switch 12 or an inside switch 14 is turned on by operating a door handle, a normal rotation direction power is supplied to an actuator motor 21. Then, the movement of an actuated position of a release lever 25b turns off a neutral detection switch 26 and turns on an actuation detection switch 27 while a locking plate 3 is moved to a release position. Then, when the switch 27 detects an actuated position of the lever 25b, the power supply to the motor 21 is halted. The plate 3 is held to a release position until the door is opened. When the door is further opened, the motor 21 is reversed. When the switch 26 detects the neutral position of an actuation lever 25, the power supply is halted. This construction makes it possible to protect the motor from burning damage even when a longer actuation time is required to open and close the door.</p> |
