<p>PURPOSE: To improve operability and anti-theft property by providing a contact- type keyboard on the roof or the like of a vehicle body and transmitting a specific code for securing the latching and unlatching of a door. CONSTITUTION: A control keyboard 2 that includes a sensing element responding to contact and being adapted to an operated key and standardizes the introduction of opening/closing codes is integrated into an automotive vehicle 1. Then, the output conductor of the keyboard 2 is connected to a decoder circuit 30, and a code from the circuit 30 is compared with that being inputted to a memory register 34 in advance by a comparator 32. Then, when the codes are identical, a control signal is transmitted to actuation equipment 36 via a switch 40, thus securing the latching and/or unlatching of a door. Further, in the case of an unlatching code signal, the control signal is transmitted to a starter 38 via a switch 42, thus prohibiting the ignition contact of the starter switch or the vehicle and hence eliminating the need for the key, a transmitter, and the like, improving anti-theft property, and performing operation at an appropriate position.</p> |
