PURPOSE:To prevent an accumulation of roving in a liquid-phase resin spray by a method wherein a chute for leading cut roving onto the spray is composed of a flat guide plate and a bulging part provided on the upstream-side center of the top surface of the guide plate, and the cut roving is dispersed at the bulging part. CONSTITUTION:Roving 1 supplied by a roving supply means 2 is continuously thrown out while being cut into a predetermined length by a fiber cutting and throwing-out means 3. The cut roving 11 is led onto a low-viscosity liquid-phase resin spray J along a chute 4, which is composed of a flat guide plate 41 and a bulging part 44 provided on the upstream-side center of the top surface of the guide plate 41. In this manner, the cut roving 11 comes into collision with the bulging part 44 to be finely dispersed to the full width of the chute 4, thereafter being thrown out above the spray J. A liquid-phase resin is sprayed from a nozzle 5 disposed right under the outlet of the chute 4. Therefore, the cut roving 11 can be uniformly dispersed in a sprayed FRP layer. |
