The electric wave absorber consists of a mixed sinter obtained by calcining Ni-Zn type ferrite powder and Mn-Zn type ferrite powder having a different permeability respectively at 900 deg.C to form a stable spinel phase, and then mixing the component to make the Ni-Zn/Mn-Zn ratio 90/10 - 10/90 and sintering the mixture at 1150 deg.C for 1 hour.
