The tacking point (8) is part of a movable runner (9) which runs in a groove in the winding tube (10). The height of the fixing position of the tacking point is continuously adjustable by a wheeled screw system (11). The runner has external threaded portions which mate with the internal thread of a rotating wheel (11). The wheel is held axially on the winding tube by a collar (13) held by a drum (14) through a flange (15), axial play allowing rotation of the wheel. USE - Allows height adjustment without need for a hoist and provides winding tube adaptability to all types of boat.
