PURPOSE:To prevent the destruction of a transistor by detecting currents flowing through a horizontal output transistor constituting a horizontal deflection circuit, conducting a switching means connected with the gate of the transistor when the currents exceeds a preliminarily set current value, and limiting corrector currents. CONSTITUTION:A control terminal among the control terminal and an output terminal which are provided on a swing means 50 is connected with a current detecting means 51, and the output terminal is connected with the gate of a horizontal output transistor 4. Normally, the means 50 is turned off, and the transistor 4 performs a switching operation based on a driving pulse from a driving pulse input terminal 1. When excess currents flows through the transistor 4 by the short-circuit of a load connected with a secondary output voltage output terminal 3, the means 50 is turned on, and the excess currents can be prevented from flowing by turning off the transistor 4. At this time, the means 51 detects the currents flowing through the transistor 4 via an output transformer 9, and applies it to the control terminal of the means 50 as the control voltage of the means 50. |
