<p>PURPOSE: To provide a method for improving power factor of modularity general purpose parallel disposition, valuable for practical use to be applied to an arbitrary load without considering characteristics and size of a load. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for improving power factor in parallel disposition comprises a main control circuit board 10, several sub-power factor circuit boards 90, and an energy storage unit 80 in parallel with direct loads provided at the sub-power factor circuit boards 90. Power source current equal to a load current is changed to sine wave current varying in amplitude according to magnitude of the load in the same phase as that of the power source voltage according to influence of the load, power factor regulating current is provided to improve the power factor, waveform of the power source current is supplemented, the power source current is set to the same phase as that of the power source voltage, and the magnitude of the amplitude is equalized to that of the load.</p> |
