Road vehicle with two independent halves - is coupled together via interlocking angled profiles and with coupling bars

Each vehicle half is a self-contained unit with a flat rear door and with the coupling provided by profiled angled catches and transverse coupling bars (31,33) at the top and bottom of the vehicle. Each half has two end wheels and a central double tyred wheel of smaller size. The seats are reversible. For combined operation the power units operate together for four-wheel drive. The rear doors are folded flat under the roof of each section when the vehicle are coupled together. USE/ADVANTAGE - The dual purpose vehicles provide improved access for family use and a fuel saving low occupancy use. The coupling of the two halves of the vehicle is rapid and simple.
