PURPOSE:To obtain the subject oil having cutting performance and excellent rust-preventive and corrosion-preventive properties. CONSTITUTION:The objective oil is prepared by adding 0.05-10 pts.wt. mixture of a group IIA metal salt of a sulfonic acid with a zinc salt of a sulfonic acid to 100 pts.wt. lubricating base oil selected from among a mineral oil, a fat or oil and a synthetic lubricating oil.
