PURPOSE:To obtain a shaped resin article excellent in mechanical properties by coloring the regrind of an RIM waste material. CONSTITUTION:A process for producing a shaped article of a reclaimed resin by hot-pressing the regrind of an RIM waste material selected from among urethane resins, urethane/urea resins and urea resins obtd. by the RIM method. wherein a soln. of a dye selected from among metal-contg. dyes, metal-contg. acid dyes and dyes having a polyether group terminated with a hydroxyl group, and dissolved in a diluent is stirred together with the regrind of the RIM waste material, and the resulting mixture is stripped of the diluent through evaporation thereof, and subsequently hot-pressed to obtain a shaped resin article. |
