PURPOSE:To provide a photosensitive body and developing sleeve interval adjusting device capable of always holding a proper interval and easily adjusting an interval in any pluces. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive body and developing sleeve interval adjusting device is provided with a developing sleeve 2, a photosensitive drum 1 whose distance from the developing sleeve 2 can be changed, a laminated piezoelectric ceramic 4 changing the interval between the photosensitive drum 1 and the developing sleeve 2, a magnetic field detecting element 6 detecting a magnet field formed by the developing sleeve 2, an interval calculating means 15 calculating the interval based on the detected magnetic field, a reference interval value output means 7 outputting a previously set reference interval value and a control means 8 controlling the laminated piezoelectric ceramic 4 so as to hold the interval at the reference interval, according to the result of the calculation of the interval calculating means 15. |
