ANTIFRICTION BEARING DEVICE

PURPOSE: To lock and retain an axial movement by mounting an outer or inner race of a roller bearing to a support without using particular device and part. CONSTITUTION: An axial retention 4 of the roller bearing 1 is formed by an elastically deformable or flexural portion 6 of a support 2 and a stop shoulder 7. When the roller bearing 1 is pressurized and inserted to the support 2, the portion 6 is enlarged. When the bearing 1 is press-fitted to a shoulder 3 position, a reverse or return shrinkage action is applied on the portion 6 and the stop shoulder 7 functions as an axial retaining portion 4 of the roller bearing 1.
