WASTE OIL EMULSION COATING AND METHOD FOR FORMING WATERPROOF FILM ON REFRACTORY MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To obtain a waste oil emulsion coating capable of preventing the erosion and corrosion of refractory brick due to permeation of water during cleaning when applied to the refractory brick constituting the wall surface of a combustion chamber of a combustor such as a boiler for ships, and thereby improving the durability thereof. CONSTITUTION:This waste oil emulsion coating is obtained by adding a surfactant and water to a waste oil such as mineral oils and adding a residual paste of a color paste for printing containing a synthetic resin emulsion and carboxymethyl cellulose as a base material to the prepared waste oil emulsion.
