PURPOSE:To provide a developing roller having simple constitution capable of performing uniform magnetization by high magnetic force and the magnetization it a multipolar feeding system. CONSTITUTION:As to the developing roller 1 provided in the image forming device of a dry one-component developing system, constituted of a magnetic layer 2 and a core bar part 3 on its surface, and requiring the magnetic field distribution of multipolar equal distribution; t/d satisfies the relation of 0.02<=t/d<=0.03 when it is assumed that the thickness of the magnetic layer 2 is (t) and the outside diameter of the developing roller 1 is (d), and the soft magnetic substance having the magnetic permeability of mu>=10<3> is used as the material of the core bar part 3. |
