PURPOSE:To keep the temp. of a head almost constant by generating heat energy corresponding to an image signal from a recording heating element and heat energy corresponding to the reverse of the image signal adjacent to an emitting orifice and an emitting direction. CONSTITUTION:Four one-shot multivibrators 7-10 respectively become a high level only for times W1-w4 in synchronous relation to the rising of an enable pulse EN. By the combination of the outputs of four multivibrators 7-10, the enable pulse EN and gates 11-14, a signal for EOFF/2, a signal 2 for EOFF and a signal 3 for EON are formed to be inputted to the logical circuit 15 of respective heating elements. The logical circuit 15 functions so that the transistors of a gate 6 composed of a transistor array driving the respective heating elements for the period corresponding to the case of six kinds of pixel data by combining the logical gates of AND, NAND and OR inventers are turned ON and the heating elements are turned ON for the period concerned. |
