PURPOSE:To improve the insertion easiness of a seat belt tongue plate into a buckle and the occupant restrictive performance by the seat belt without specially providing a mechanism to drive the buckle in the mounting direction of the seat belt. CONSTITUTION:A buckle 14 to be coupled with a tongue plate 13A which is fixed to a seat belt 13 is provided on a seat longitudinal adjuster 12 of a seat 10. A front vertical motor 22 of a vertical adjustment mechanism 18 of the seat 10, a rear vertical motor 24 and a seat switch 16 are connected to a control circuit 70, and a door switch 72 and a coupling switch 74 are connected to the control circuit 70. The control circuit 70 moves the whole seat cushion 11 downward when the door is opened and the tongue plate 13A is not coupled with the buckle 14, while the circuit moves the whole seat cushion 11 upward when the coupling of the tongue plate 13A on the buckle 14 is completed. |
