MOLDING METHOD OF BOTTOM OF CAN

PURPOSE:To obtain a molding method of the bottom of a can, by which necessary marks can be made on the bottom plate without impairing the appearance of the can. CONSTITUTION:Marks consisting of recessed parts 2b are previously formed on a concave face of a domer 2. The domer 2 is placed inside a can body 1 and a plug 3 outside the can body so that the bottom plate of the can body 1 is held between the concave face 2b of the domer 2 and a convex face 3a of the plug 3. Therefore, the recessed parts 2b formed on the concave face 2a are pressed on the bottom plate of the can body 1. Thereby, marks consisting of minute recessed parts can be made on the outer face of the bottom plate of the can body 1. The marks can be read only when light is radiated on the outer face of the bottom plate of the can body 1 and its reflected light is projected on a screen.
