PURPOSE:To provide an air bag which can be folded small and is inexpensive. CONSTITUTION:First high weaving density regions 21, 21 are provided on both sides in the longitudinal direction of a sheet 20. Second high weaving density regions 22 extending in the width direction of the sheet 20 are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the sheet 20 at the pitch equal to the width of the sheet 20. The square-shaped area enclosed by these first and second high weaving density regions 21,22 is made to be a low weaving density region 23. A circular cloth 24 is formed by executing the circular blanking of the sheet 20 so as to include this low weaving density region 23 at the center. An air bag is formed by sewing these circular cloths with each other. This constitution allows high seaming strength of the seamed part, and small folding because most part except the seamed part is thin. This allows downsizing of the air bag device. |
