The container consists of two synthetic resin parts, one being opaque to be the lower half(1) of recycling polystyrene and the other one being transparent to be the upper half of fresh polystyrene. The two parts are press formed out of respective extrusion resin sheets for the bottom and the top cover. The top transparent cover allows a look-through for the consumer to check the kind and condition of the eggs in the container. The opaque bottom part of recycling resin brings down the production cost.
