PURPOSE:To make a conductible current high and to obtain a permanent current switch, which is hard to be quenched by winding a switching superconductive wire in an inductive manner, and providing a compressive-force generating winding part at the outside of a superconductive winding part for a switch. CONSTITUTION:This switch is constituted of a superconductive wire part 3 for a switch and a heater 6 and connected across both ends of a superconductive coil 10. When, a current is supplied into the superconductive coil 10 from a main power supply 11, the superconductive winding part 3 for the switch is heated with the heater 6 and transferred into the normal conducting state so as to generate resistance. Thus, the permanent current switch is made to be the OFF state. In a compressive-force generating winding part 4, wherein force is liable to be applied on the side of the outer diameter of a winding frame and the wire is liable to be moved, the superconductive winding covered with low-resistance metal such as e.g. copper is used. Therefore, the heating value is small even if a part of the superconductive wire quenched by the movement of the wire. Thus, the permanent current switch, which is hard to be quenched, can be obtained. |
